1. Having voluntarily given informed consent before performing the specific assay procedures. 2. Women aged ≥18 years. 3. MMC (stage IV) and HER2 negative histologically determined in the local laboratory. HER2 negative must have been determined by immunohistochemistry (IHC) or in situ hybridization when the HER2 / CEP17 ratio is <2 or when the average HER2 gene copies is <4 signals per cell. 4. Pre-treatment with first-line chemotherapy based on taxanes. The first line chemotherapy may have included any approved taxane (docetaxel, paclitaxel or nab-paclitaxel) as a single agent or in a combination regimen with other cytotoxic agents, bevacizumab or other antidiana drugs. The patient must have received at least 4 cycles (12 weeks) of taxane chemotherapy regimen. There is no maximum number of cycles of taxane induction to be receiving the patient. 5. It should be considered a minimum period of 4 weeks and a maximum of 6 weeks after completion of treatment with taxanes to the inclusion of the patient in the study 6. Measurable disease or evaluable unmeasurable disease according to RECIST version 1.1, at the start of first-line chemotherapy based on taxanes without evidence of progression disease (RECIST version 1.1) at the time of inclusion. Patients must have achieved an objective response (CR or PR) or SD. 7. Patients with positive HR must meet the criterion of resistance to endocrine therapy (criteria Advanced Breast Cancer Second International Consensus Conference ABC2 for primary or secondary resistance) consisting of: to. Progression to prior endocrine therapy for metastatic disease (without limiting the number of lines of endocrine therapy alone or combined with drugs antidiana). b. Relapse during the neo / adjuvant or during the first year after completion of the same endocrine therapy. 8. Patients may have received neoadjuvant or adjuvant treatment after surgery of the primary tumor, whenever more than 6 months have elapsed between the administration of the last dose of neo / adjuvant chemotherapy and the first-line chemotherapy for metastatic disease. 9. ECOG performance status of 0 or 1. 10. Recovery of any toxicity to grade ≤1 pretreatment according to the criteria of the NCI-CTCAE version 4.0 at the time of the inclusion of the patient, with the exception of peripheral neuropathy. 11. Adequate organ function during the 7 days prior to administration of the first dose of treatment, defined as: to. absolute neutrophil count (ANC) ≥1.500 cells / ul. b. Hemoglobin ≥9 g / dL; transfusion being allowed to achieve these levels of hemoglobin. c. ≥100.000 platelet cells / ul. d. Serum creatinine ≤1,5 x upper limit of normal (ULN). and. ALT and AST ≤5xLSN ≤2.5xLSN or if the presence of liver metastases. ≤1.5xLSN total serum bilirubin, except in patients with Gilbert's syndrome, for those in which bilirubin should be within the normal range. 12. El estado negativo de HER2 debe haber sido determinado por inmunohistoquímica (IHQ) o hibridación in situ cuando el ratio HER2/CEP17 es <2 o cuando el promedio de copias del gen HER2 es <4 señales por célula. 4.- Tratamiento previo con quimioterapia de primera línea basada en taxanos. Las pacientes deben haber alcanzado una respuesta objetiva (RC o RP) o EE. 7.- Las pacientes con RRHH positivos deben cumplir el criterio de resistencia a terapia endocrina (criterios de la Advanced Breast Cancer Second International Consensus Conference ABC2 para resistencia primaria o secundaria) consistente en: a. Progresión a un tratamiento endocrino previo para la enfermedad metastásica (sin limitación del número de líneas de terapia endocrina en monoterapia o combinación con fármacos antidiana). b. Recaída durante la terapia endocrina neo/adyuvante o durante el primer año tras la finalización de la misma. 8.- Los pacientes pueden haber recibido tratamiento neoadyuvante o adyuvante tras la cirugía del tumor primario, siempre que hayan transcurrido más de 6 meses entre la administración de la última dosis de quimioterapia neo/adyuvante y la primera línea de quimioterapia para la enfermedad metastásica. 9.- Estado funcional ECOG 0 o 1. 10.- Recuperación de cualquier toxicidad del tratamiento previo a grado ≤1 de acuerdo a los criterios del NCI-CTCAE versión 4.0 en el momento de la inclusión de la paciente, con la excepción de la neuropatía periférica. 11.- Función orgánica adecuada durante los 7 días previos a la administración de la primera dosis del tratamiento, definido como: a. Recuento absoluto de neutrófilos (RAN) ≥1.500 células/µl. b. Hemoglobina ≥9 g/dL; siendo permitida la transfusión para alcanzar estos niveles de hemoglobina. c. Plaquetas ≥100.000 células/µl. d. Creatinina sérica ≤1,5 x límite superior normal (LSN). e. ALT y AST ≤2.5xLSN o ≤5xLSN en caso de presencia de metástasis hepáticas. Bilirrubina sérica total ≤1.5xLSN, excepto en pacientes con el síndrome de Gilbert, para aquellos en los que la bilirrubina debería estar dentro del rango de la normalidad. 12.- Expectativa de vida de al menos 12 semanas. |

Active antineoplastic treatment within 42 days prior to randomization (Except treatment with taxane ± another drug in combination as an anthracycline). 10. Brain metastases or leptomeningeal metastasis. performing a CT for checking the presence of these lesions is not necessary, except clinically suspected disease in the central nervous system (CNS) by the investigator. 11. Pregnant women, breast feeding or with a positive pregnancy test in the visit in the selection period; Women of childbearing potential and sexually active are unwilling to use adequate contraception (such as oral contraceptives, intrauterine device or method of contraceptive barrier with spermicide or surgical sterilization) during the study and up to 3 months after administration of the last dose of study treatment. 12. No han recibido tratamiento previo para la enfermedad metastástica con un tratamiento endocrino. b. Han recaído a un tratamiento endocrino neo/adyuvante tras más de 12 meses de su finalización. 4.- Enfermedad no medible o evaluable al inicio de la quimioterapia en primera línea. 5.- Progresión a la enfermedad durante la primera línea de quimioterapia basada en taxanos. 6.- Inclusión de la paciente más allá de las 6 semanas de la finalización del tratamiento con taxanos. 7.- No disponibilidad de la evaluación de la respuesta tumoral tras el último ciclo de quimioterapia con taxanos administrado. 8.- Intención de mantener el tratamiento con bevacizumab o cualquier otro agente antidiana durante el estudio. 9.- Tratamiento antineoplásico activo en los 42 días anteriores a la aleatorización (exceptuando el tratamiento con el taxano ± algún otro fármaco en combinación como una antraciclina). 10.- Metástasis cerebrales o afectación metastásica leptomeníngea. No será necesario la realización de una TC para la comprobación de la presencia de este tipo de metástasis, excepto en el caso sospecha clínica de enfermedad en el sistema nervioso central (SNC) por parte del investigador. 11.- Mujeres embarazadas, en periodo de lactancia o con un test de embarazo positivo en la visita en el periodo de selección; mujeres en edad fértil y sexualmente activas que no estén dispuestas a utilizar un método anticonceptivo adecuado (como anticonceptivos orales, dispositivo intrauterino o método de barrera anticonceptivo junto con espermicida o esterilización quirúrgica) durante el estudio y hasta 3 meses después de la administración de la última dosis del tratamiento de estudio. 12.- Uso de cualquier medicamento/producto en investigación o participación en otro ensayo clínico de forma simultánea o en los 28 días previos a la aleatorización. 13.- Neuropatía periférica grado >2 de acuerdo a los criterios del NCI-CTCAE versión 4.0. 14.- Radioterapia previa en ≥30% de la médula ósea o finalización de la misma en los 30 días previos o sin total recuperación de las toxicidades que hayan podido experimentar durante la radioterapia administrada. 15.- Pacientes con el diagnóstico de otras enfermedades neoplásicas durante los 5 años anteriores a la inclusión en el estudio, a pesar de haber sido adecuadamente tratadas (a excepción del cáncer de piel no melanoma y el carcinoma in situ de cérvix o de colon, adecuadamente tratados). 16.- Cualquier enfermedad sistémica no controlada como: una cardiopatía, una neumopatía o una metabolopatía clínicamente significativas, infección grave, etc. 17.- Incapacidad para ingerir comprimidos o historia previa de reducción de estómago o intestino delgado, o trastornos gastrointestinales de la absorción que puedan interferir con la administración oral del tratamiento objeto de estudio. 18.- Intolerancia hereditaria a la fructosa. 19.- Hipersensibilidad conocida al fármaco en estudio o a otros fármacos de estructura química similar. 20.- Pacientes que requieran un tratamiento con inhibidores o inductores potentes de CYP3A4 como: ketoconazol, intraconazol, ritonavir, amprenavir, indinavir, rifampicina o fenitoína, etc. (Anexo 4). 21.- Cualquier cirugía mayor o daño traumático significativo en los 28 días previos a la aleatorización, o la previsión de necesitar una cirugía mayor durante el tratamiento del estudio. 22.- Cualquier alteración médica o psicológica, sociológica o geográfica que, a criterio del investigador, pueda comprometer la capacidad de la paciente para la comprensión y el cumplimiento del protocolo.
